ANIMES. Eons ago, I’ve been addicted to drawing animes. My favorites would be Yuyu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin and Fushigi Yuugi. My last known art was dated 2001. I haven’t tried making another since then. It just frustrates me. If I won’t be too lazy, I’ll post some of them here.
COLLECTING. I love collecting little stuffs. I started collecting keychains and figurines when I was still in elementary, maybe around 10 years old. Most of the keychains I have are gifts from friends and family. Here’s a snapshot of some of the keychains I have. I left the others back in the Philipines, so most of them are the recently bought ones. The figurines are also not available so I won’t be able to share ‘em with you. I’ll try to get a shot of ‘em when I get back home.
MANGAS. My liking to mangas goes hand in hand with my fervor with animes. Back then, I’ve been used to saving up money just to buy a manga. I’ve been addicted to it so I almost completed the RK taiwan version. Almost. I still lack 9 volumes. I also bought Fushigi Yuugi, Ah My Goddess and Flame of Recca. It cost me a fortune buying all those mangas. But I don’t regret it. I recently saw the other lacking volumes of RK in a convenient store near our place and I’m planning to save up some money to buy them. Hopefully, I’ll buy them in the future.
MOVIES. I really love watching movies and I’m currently addicted to Korean films. I already posted something about it, you can view it here. Movies in general are a way for me to relieve stress. After too much studying, I tend to reward myself with a movie. But mostly, I watch movies at home.
MUSIC. I love listening to music. It gives me a soothing feeling. Truthfully, my mom told me that when I was just a kid, I couldn’t sleep without having the radio on. But unfortunately though, that doesn’t work for an insomniac like me anymore.
PHOTOGRAPHY. I like taking pictures a lot, either using my phone or my camera. My usual subjects are landscape or inanimate objects (I’m not good at taking portraits). I’m not a professional photographer and I admit that. Actually, my shots are usually out of focus. I don’t know, I guess I just don’t have a knack at it, or maybe the camera just hates me. But still, I love taking pictures, especially the story behind it. And even if my next shot is another one of the teleportation series. I’d still try. It’s still worth a shot!
